Failed but fixed under warranty
Unit failed after third use, and sounds kinda weird when operating... Repair tech took two visits and a week to sort it. It works real great now

Really enjoining the induction cooktop
It is really easy to clean and very simple to use
The heat is instant and cooks very fast
We had some install issues re venting at the front of the unit but this was sorted by the kitchen cabinet installer
I was surprised that this was on myself to correct as the manual states 4 mm venting at front is essential as there is a lot of heat coming from under each element
I have brought this to the attention of both F&P and also our kitchen designer
Glad it was resolved as it would have effected our warranty

Swapped Ceramic for Induction - great decision
We had an induction cooktop in our previous property and loved the convenience and precise control it offered. We moved to an apartment which had a new F & P ceramic cook top. We used it for 18 months - but missed the convenience Induction offers. We bought a new F &P induction cook top. The footprint and cut out was exactly the same as the ceramic top so no bench top alterations were required. The cook top was on special at Magnus Benrow - so the changeover wasn't expensive.

Induction cooktop satisfaction
Very easy to operate and easy to clean. Touch controls are far better than dials. This is the second one I’ve purchased for a kitchen makeover, no regrets at all.

A definite speed improvement over old ceramic top!
This is a good value cooktop with plenty of speed. It required a circuit upgrade so factor that in if you don't already have a circuit for an induction top. Overall, this has been a fantastic upgrade.
My only areas of hesitancy would be around the cooktop area - a little small, but the only one that would fit my space, and the finger controls are sometimes a bit unresponsive... or conversely are overly sensitive to a frying pan accidentally straying over them etc.
