Do not buy
We bought this dishwasher about 6 months ago and it is an absolute piece OS! The touch screen panel on the front is the worse design of all time. Most of the time I have to push the buttons super hard for it to work. The older version with the buttons was far better. Also, the cutlery holder in the older version (which we upgraded from) was much better. Do not buy this is a serious downgrade from the older version!

Double DishDrawer
Decided to replace our 14 year old double dishdrawer as we were upgrading the kitchen. Love the practicality of the dishdrawer and the new one is much quieter than our old one. We would give it 5 stars but we don’t like the single control panel, which is a bit confusing and not as user friendly as having one for each drawer. We tend to use the app as it is easier to use than the control panel.

Can't believe they still sell these.
Crappiest thing I've ever owned. Can't fit anything in there and if you squeeze your dishes in they won't clean. Plate pacing too close together and have to have them two rows apart. Everything has to face down as only single spray arm. Might be okay for single person trying to save water but if there's two or more of you then don't bother.

Mostly happy
We have always had distress they are perfect for our large family set one after every meal. Last machine dies after about 7 years of extremely heavy use - purchased new one from Harvey Norman. First delivery - damaged dented in side. Second delivery - damaged dented all along top and back. Third one finally in good order. I like the opening handle, don’t like the combined control panel as much prefer one per drawer. Also disappointed the rack doesn’t adjust used to be able to slide to make narrow or wider - finding it’s harder to fit some items.

Once skeptic, now believers.
We were initially a bit skeptical about what a double dish drawer could achieve. We took our time and were careful about how we used it, ensuring we didn't overload it, used the recommended cleaning tablets and worked our way through the myriad of ways we could use this impressive machine. It hasn't let us down, entirely, so we would have to rate it very high on a star rating. The only small issue we have had a couple of times is the left over cleaning tablet residue. Some on the utensils and some on the bottom of the utensil "basket". Generally, we are very happy with our purchase.

Worth the wait!
I had purchased an F & P dishdrawer back in 2007, and when it finally gave up on me a few months ago, I was tempted to buy a cheaper, generic dishwasher to replace it. However I loved the features and flexibility of the two-drawer, and also was impressed that the previous one had lived almost two decades! So since I'd been saving hard for a new replacement, knowing the previous one's days were numbered, I decided to follow my instinct. And I'm so pleased I did!!
Quiet, easily programmable, even talks to my smartphone! Elegant and sleek, it has modernised the look of my kitchen. Looking forward to many more years of efficiency and reliability.

Vast improvement over original dish drawer
Replaced a 30yrold DD601 . Now so much quieter washes much better. Only downside is the kick plate on bottom drawer that catches feet, it was fixed to cabinet on old one

F&P Series 7 Oven
Very happy with oven. The only criticism would be the moving arms which I had to attach to side rungs. They are very hard to do, but I took everything back to Harvey Norman and they attached for me.

drying problems
It is taking time to get used to my dish drawer. My dishes are only lightly soiled so I've been using Eco or the Light mode. The dishes wash perfectly but they won't dry in the machine. I've tried adding an extra 'dry' cycle but it didn't help much. The cutlery container is dripping wet when I remove it, and there is water on all the dishes. Is this normal? NB I do wait till the fan has stopped running before opening the drawer.

Quiet and efficient Dishwasher
Great service for the removal of my old F&P dishwasher and installation of the new one. The first time we used it we thought we hadn't set it properly to do its first wash - turns out we did but it was SO quiet. Love it and its ease of use.

Watch the childlock
This is my 4th dish draw. Didn’t come with a manual. Need to print it off. It went into child lock and I couldn’t use it for days and had to ring F&P to find out how to unlock it because each model has a different way of unlocking (never had this problem in the past) Please manufacturer be consistent and stick to one way of unlocking.

Series 7 Double Dishdrawer
A disappointment.
After 15 years of loving my F&P dishdrawer I shifted to a brand new apartment where a Bosch dishwasher was installed which I didn’t like. So I bought the series 7 dishdrawer. I am really disappointed with it. It is digital and fiddly. I need to get on my knees so I can see what I’m selecting. The cutlery doesn’t clean like my previous one, I have small loads and I need to put it on the medium cycle with extra dry, which takes 145 mins. My previous one did this in 90 mins.

New 7 Series Double Door Dishwasher
I've had the double door F&P Dishwashers since 2004 and loved all 3 of them, however the new 7 Series is disappointing considering its price. Positive is the fact that the "shelves/racks" can be adjusted up or down, and the plate section can be folded flat for larger items such as pots and pans. The filter is a BIG improvement and so much easier to clean. The racks inside are sturdier, but that means there is less space than before. The control panel now sits on the outside and is extremely sensitive. I have "turned" it on a few times with my belt buckle when leaning over to prepare food etc. despite the above I still prefer the two drawers over any other dishwasher.

Great design, very good dishwasher.
I really like this dishwasher. The design is sleek and the fact you can run each drawer independently is fantastic for small households. Only loses a star for a couple of issues - it doesn't always get everything sparkling clean, particularly in the top drawer. This may be user fault (leaving dishes too long before starting machine or not rinsing well enough) but I feel like since it's sole job is to wash dishes, it could definitely be more powerful for the price factor. 7/10 for washing effort.
Second minor issue is that the panel is very sensitive. We have our drawers next to our sink and it's easy to start the machine by rubbing past it (eg when preparing food). We've had to keep the child lock on to stop this happening or make sure we don't prepare food in front of it. Overall happy with our purchase and would but again.

20 year old dishdraw replaced
Our old F&P dishdrawers had issues after 20 years so decided that we loved them so much that we replaced with the same thing. Its going great. Very quiet and dishes lovely and clean.

Our original Double Dishwasher spat the dummy, we went online for a replacement. We purchased this latest series and have no complaints. Close the drawer that's the one flashing on the keypad press wash, do the same for the second drawer and both are washing. Easy to use control panel for types of wash whether heavy, light or eco. Was easy to install plumber had the old one out & new one in under 1/2 hour. Just need to remember to top up glass cleaner & put dishwasher tablet in cutlery basket. Double drawer is best way to go for couples.
