Thnis Dryer is excellent!
Great well made unit. Very happy wiht the purhcse. Simple to use and robust. More functions than I am used to, but they all seem to do exactly as decribed. My last dryer I couldn't tell any difference from one function to the other by the results (Bosch). This one is GREAT!

Oh my goodness, this thing is amazing
I bought this for my Mum a few months ago. Her previous dryer was at least 20 years old! She immediately commented how soft her clothes came out of the dryer.

Great concept, but needs improvements.
Primarily bought this dryer as it stacks with our F&P front loader, and while it isn't the cheapest to run (or buy), we don't use a dryer that much except when necessary due to weather/urgency of needing laundered items! Also we have limited space, so needed a condenser as opposed to a vented option for our house. However, we still tend to open a window in the laundry if practical as it still generates humid air.
Two annoying things: the door opens in the complete opposite direction to our washer, and the wrong way for our set-up. F&P have missed the mark on this. Also, it would be really great if you could dial up the temperature you want instead of fixed pre-programmed temps - a lot of the cycles we don't use as the temps are just too hot for many fabrics. So we tend to fudge it using whatever cycle allows you to adjust components and have set up a favourite option for special care items.
The damp-dry finish can be frustrating as some items are simply too damp still, so we just put it on a timed cycle instead to finish off.

its annoying having to empty the long cylinder
Like the look however having to empty the cylinder and lint filter....also error messages when all of above is done having to do a timed dry seems the only way around this

Not happy
I have owned this product for 3 years and it has broken down twice, technician also took about 4 weeks to come, will not buy another Fisher & Paykel again.

Not reliable, guide wheels wear out!
Bought this dryer a few years ago and the guide wheels for the drum have worn out. Not worth the money I paid for it.

No more crying walls
No need for venting, Highly recommend if your Laundry does not have an external window. No more "crying walls" Option to connect the drain hose directly to drain/Tub or manually empty the water tank if no drain pipe is available
Plenty of drying options from Auto, to select time intervals, heat, no heat,etc.
Also has a cool rack accessory for drying shoes, teddys etc
Drys quickly and efficiently
Only con is it cannot be wall mounted, however it can be stacked if you have a compatible Fisher & Paykel Front loader.
If you've had this sitting in your cart, pondering on whether you need it or not. Yes, yes you do! Checkout and Complete purchase. You won't regret it.

Good size dryer
First day using it I noticed condensation on the outside on the top of the door. They said it is normal with this model. I've never seen that with previous dryers. When doing a normal load our work polo collars and socks aren't dried properly. Really like how quick the loads take. So far so good. Are yet to see how cleaning the condenser goes.

Love this dryer
Love my new dryer. Easy to use and so many easy drying options to choose from. Best of all is that if I want to remove my clothes before the time is up, I can. It doesn't "lock" my clothes in as some dryers do.

Great dryer
We have had this dryer for a month now and its been great. We still haven't quite managed to get the everyday cycle to fully dry our clothes but the rest of the options work perfectly. Clothes come out dry but not over-crisped. Happy with our purchase.

Very happy purchase
What a change going from our very basic old dryer to this new condensing option. I never realised just how much water dryers collect, so happy to no longer having that go into the house! There are so many settings options it is worth taking the time to work through them and find what will do the best for whatever you are putting in the dryer. I particularly like the 'Freshen Up' setting to fluff towels up after taking them off the clothesline.

When on high it doesnt dry the clothes properly but putting it on low it does dry the clothes after a while

Good value for money
Good dryer for the price.
Our one developed an annoying squeal after a few months; F&P tech got it all fixed up and has been going great ever since.
It is great to not need the vent for outside, though we have a small laundry and the dryer will heat up the room quite quickly if the door is shut.

Good Machine that performs well.
Overall we are happy with our Dryer and purchase. Once we were familiar with the machine we have managed to find the perfect ways to dry the different garments that we dry in the machine. The sound is relatively quiet and the quality of the
Our only wish was that the optional drainage pipe that comes with the machine was longer, as in many cases this would need to stretch around an existing washing machine also. This is our case and with the pipe being too short we need to keep with the manual overflow and emptying before or after every use.

Love it, but..
Love this dryer (especially because it condenses), however I do find I have to run items for an additional 30 min cycle after the 'auto' cycle to get them actually dry.
