Great machine

1 month into owning this dryer and it's been great.
Reverse tumble on the sheets cycle is fantastic - keeps the sheets for balling.
Gentle on clothes, and have only had dry items come back out.
Auto feature with sheets felt like it ran a little longer than expected, but these machines do take longer to dry than typical vented dryers, so not that surprising.
Was able to use water drain hose so no need for us to empty water catchment.
Lint filter definitely catches a lot of lint, so highly recommend checking it before running each new cycle. Specially after running towels through. We've had to clean it every cycle which is not a big deal - general maintenance really.
The real test for us will be winter and a new baby, so will be interested to see what things are like then.
Otherwise so far so good - stoked to have it.

Fantastic energy efficient dryer
We bought this to accompany our F&P 8.5kg washing machine in our laundry. They look great and can be stacked. The condenser and lint filters are easy to empty (we haven’t external venting). We like the different drying cycle options available and the drying rack comes in handy for drying shoes. The 7-star energy rating on this dryer is making a big difference to our power bill compared to our old dryer.
We’re very happy with this appliance!

Love my new dryer! Currently a multi generation household making loads of washing every day in the Auckland rain, the dryer gets a good workout. The settings for sheets & towels are great although I do select the extra dry option. Capacity is right for a bathroom load of towels. The regular setting does everything else again using extra dry. The kiddy lock is quick & easy to use (has my 18th old grandson foiled) & power bills have reduced since we swapped the 20+ year old front venting dryer for this new one.

Really love this dryer. Super energy efficient, the clothes come out feeling soft and not scorched. Some things like towels take a bit longer but since it doesn't cost as much to run that isn't a worry. Really like the different settings (there are heaps!) which make drying bulky loads like sheets or delicates easy. Large drum is perfect partner for my 8.5kg F&P washer too.

The perfect dryer!
It’s brilliant & I really love it! I’m one of those people that love emptying the dryer lint (I find it hugely satisfying) so I also really love getting to empty out the water container as well. It’s so satisfying seeing how much water comes out of your laundry & I much prefer it to a vented dryer. I also just sit my bras on top of it while the rest is drying inside & they actually get dry from sitting on top without tumbling & damaging them. It’s perfect!

WORKS WELL
I chose this machine mainly because it had a reverse cycle which was meant to stop the twisting of fitted sheets. Unfortunately, it still bundles them into a ball, however, that ball does seem to dry ok. It is louder than my previous Bosch - almost industrial, but overall it seems to do the job and dry the clothes. The auto setting seem to dry to a good level. It has good options either manual or auto.

Great dryer! Dries clothes really well. However I would recommend it be plumbed in. If you are trying to dry a large load you will need to empty the water twice.

Does take some getting used to in comparison to the old one that made the power meter giddy! Longer drying times though still at a fraction of the cost. Cottons and towels seem softer on completion of the cycle. Impressive. A future-proof investment.
